Course Objective – Pharmacy Clerk & Electronic Healthcare Records Certification
Upon successful completion of this program, students will develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for entry-level employment as a Pharmacy Clerk while gaining proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Students will learn pharmacy operations, medical terminology, prescription processing, customer service, inventory management, insurance verification, HIPAA compliance, and accurate electronic documentation. Through hands-on training, students will demonstrate the ability to support pharmacists and healthcare professionals by maintaining patient records, processing prescriptions, utilizing industry-standard EHR software, and providing quality patient service in a variety of healthcare settings.
