Course Objective – EKG Technician Healthcare Training
Upon successful completion of this program, students will develop the knowledge and hands-on clinical skills necessary for entry-level employment as an Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician. Students will learn cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, patient preparation, electrocardiogram procedures, cardiac rhythm interpretation, patient safety, infection control, and professional communication. Through classroom instruction and practical laboratory experience, students will demonstrate competency in performing diagnostic EKG procedures, accurately documenting patient information, and providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a variety of healthcare settings.
